TVisionarium (2007)

Interactive 3D artwork directed by Jeffrey Shaw that sees participants searching through 20,000 video clips and recombining them to form new narratives

TVisionarium

TVisionarium is an interactive artwork presented in the 360-degree stereoscopic immersive environment, AVIE (Advanced Visualisation and Interaction Environment). Participants search through 20,000 video clips based on a number of criteria, including emotion and colour. Clips can then be recombined to form new sequences and narratives.

A team of software developers, led by Matthew McGinity, implemented the work. I wrote the search engine and user interaction code.

The work was exhibited at multiple locations between 2006 and 2018 including at Sydney Festival in 2008.
