Scenario (2010)
Interactive 360-degree 3D cinematic installation directed by Dennis Del Favero
Scenario is an interactive 360-degree stereoscopic installation directed by Dennis Del Favero. It explores the ways in which narrative co-evolves when human participants co-inhabit and interact with autonomous virtual humanoids.
I led the software development team, wrote the software for a number of the scripted sequences, managed the 3D asset pipeline and wrote the interpretation code for the multi-camera tracking system used to track the position of individuals in the space.
Scenario was designed for the AVIE (Advanced Visualisation and Interaction Environment) platform developed at iCinema, University of New South Wales. For more information about AVIE, visit the AVIE Platform page on the website for artist Jeffrey Shaw.
The work was exhibited a number of times between 2010 and 2014 including at the Sydney Film Festival in 2011.
